The statutory goals of the Foundation are

  • Promotion, support, and development of international cooperation between Poland, Ukraine, and other countries worldwide;
  • Supporting and promoting the development of innovation and technology in Poland and abroad through scientific research activities, education, and the exchange of experiences;
  • Fostering global socioeconomic development by supporting ambitious initiatives and projects, and utilizing innovation and modern technologies to effectively meet market needs;
  • Implementation of social and business projects based on market innovations and modern technologies;
  • Supporting the formation of an open, market-based, democratic, conscious, spiritually and culturally developed, mentally and physically healthy society;
  • Implementation and protection of rights and freedoms, meeting social needs, and economic interests of all categories of the population, especially the vulnerable, and assisting in their realization;
  • Promotion of democratic and civic values;
  • Prevention of natural disasters and man-made catastrophes, elimination of their consequences, assistance to victims of disasters, armed conflicts, and accidents, as well as to refugees and people in difficult life situations;
  • Integration and facilitation of contacts between Polish, Ukrainian, and other global communities; promotion of the defense capabilities of Poland, Ukraine, and other countries;
  • Protection of the population in crisis situations during peacetime and martial law;
  • Supporting the development of art, culture, and creative industries, including the implementation of national culture development programs, patriotic education, protection of cultural heritage, creative economy, and others;
  • Shaping national consciousness, historical memory, civic stance, patriotism, and readiness to defend the homeland through understanding its spiritual heritage.

The Foundation achieves its goals through

  • Supporting military and civilian healthcare during armed conflicts, in accordance with the provisions of the Geneva Conventions of 1949, the Additional Protocols of 1977 and 2005, and conducting humanitarian activities for victims of armed conflicts;
  • Disseminating knowledge of international humanitarian law of armed conflicts and cooperating with public authorities and non-governmental organizations to ensure its respect;
  • Providing assistance to victims and those affected by natural disasters and catastrophes, both domestically and abroad, and preparing society for appropriate behavior in case of their occurrence; activities in the field of civil protection;
  • Conducting charitable activities, implementing social assistance tasks, including care services, and acting for the benefit of individuals and families in difficult life situations;
  • Carrying out activities for the benefit of people with disabilities;
  • Promoting national traditions and acting for national and ethnic minorities, conducting activities for European integration, and developing contacts and cooperation between societies;
  • Conducting activities for the protection of the environment, cultural goods, and national and cultural heritage;
  • Acting to restore family ties broken due to armed conflicts, natural disasters, and migration;
  • Recruiting, training, and organizing personnel and volunteers necessary to carry out the Foundation’s tasks;
  • Cooperating with state authorities, institutions, and organizations, educational, creative, sports institutions, and other non-governmental organizations both domestically and abroad;
  • Promoting and organizing volunteer work, charitable activities, and initiatives for the integration and professional reintegration of communities at risk of social exclusion;
  • Supporting economic development, including the development of entrepreneurship and creative industries;
  • Advocating for equal rights of women and men, and activities for people of retirement age;
  • Supporting the development of communities and local societies;
  • Preventing addictions and social pathologies;
  • Supporting the development of science, higher education, education, schooling, and upbringing;
  • Promoting the development of art, culture, and creative industries, including implementing national and cultural development programs, patriotic education, protection of cultural heritage, creative economy, and more;
  • Organizing and conducting conferences, seminars, lectures, presentations, round tables, fairs, competitions, concerts, sports events, tournaments, games, ceremonies, memorial days, and similar activities;
  • Organizing social assistance, including helping families and individuals in difficult life situations and equalizing opportunities for these families and individuals;
  • Promoting practices of inclusion, non-discrimination, accessibility, and universal design, respecting diversity and equal opportunities in society;
  • Establishing and developing cross-border cooperation, exchanging experiences, attracting experts, specialists, and the public to participate in the Foundation’s programs and events;
  • Implementing other tasks in line with the Foundation’s purpose, particularly those commissioned by public administration bodies.
