Two key strategic development goals of Free People in 2025 are supporting young scientists and developing international cooperation. Today, we are making a step towards supporting STEM youth.
With great pleasure we announce an open call for young scientists who work in automation and communications!
We see great potential in those two topics, especially intertwined with green technologies in order to follow the EU strategy aimed at making Europe a climate-neutral continent by 2050.
Topic: Automation & Communication
Deadline: 11:59 PM (GMT+2) September 16 — 3 weeks from now
This program is aimed at solving such problems as optimization of resource use, application of advanced and non-obvious approaches in work and development of the final product, creation of simple and technological solutions that can be quickly scaled and integrated into complex hierarchical structures.
The objectives of the program are to provide logistical support in the areas of information technology, automation and communication systems, and information security. The objectives of the Program also include:
- Stimulating innovation and R&D: creating favorable conditions for the generation and testing of new technological solutions in the field of automation and communications that have high potential for scaling and a broad application profile in the information technology sector over the next three years;
- Supporting and promoting the green transition: promoting the implementation of green approaches and optimising the EU strategy aimed at making Europe a climate-neutral continent by 2050;
- Development and support of human capital and technical skills: financial and institutional support for young Start-Up teams, enabling them to successfully develop and test the MVP of their technological solutions within the program;
- Promoting cross-sectoral cooperation: supporting and establishing the exchange of experience and technologies between academia and research, which will contribute to the emergence of cross-sectoral partnerships and joint projects in the field of information technologies in the future;
- Formation of scalable technological solutions: to promote the development and testing of new innovative solutions that are easy to scale and demonstrate the potential to reduce operating and production costs.
